The Helpline is a volunteer-run, non profit community safety group – we provide 24 hour bilingual operators to help call for help, report crimes or roadside assistance – 6599-3122 is the emergency helpline number or www.panamahelpline.org for non-emergencies – see Facebook/panamahelpline as well.
Our coverage area is from Chamé to Penonomé, including El Valle and Altos Del Maria.
Membership is only $10 a month ($120 a year) Advocacy is our best work- and improved community safety is our only objective.
We have over 300 members (155 households) and speak for and on behalf of the interests of all residents of the interior.
